Background

Born on Arcadia in the year 2527, Phoenix did not get to wait long before he got his first taste of the Covenant. His family being evacuated in 2531 during the first Covenant invasion of the planet. Being relocated to New Carthage following this. Where Phoenix would grow up, reminded of the loss of his homeworld, and subsequently enlisting with the UNSC, where he would be hand picked from the marines for ODST screening after excelling as a heavy weapons specialist. He would pass screening with flying colours as well as training itself, though it was noted he had some issues with following authority that was not his own, but was fully capable of acting as said authority.That capability would land him in charge of his own squad, Ravage-6, which he lead for a short period before becoming it's only surviving member. What followed was a demotion and subsequent move to a new squad, Echo-10 where he would take the role of the squad's heavy weapons specialist, and resident asshole. That said, so long as he keeps finding Covenant to kill, he doesn't mind one bit.
